Blaming the officials will usually get you in the Top 5…

Over the past 24 hours, Monday Night Football remained as the most popular topic, though focus shifted to comments from 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz blaming the officials for their loss to the Cardinals, saying the review of a play and subsequent change in the spot of the ball were not handled clearly by the officials, causing confusion on the 49ers sideline. Also popular was discussion about the NBA’s two unbeaten teams: the Lakers and, more surprising, the Hawks, marked by the Hawks win over the Bulls Tuesday. The various MLB player awards were also highly discussed, especially debate over whether Giants P Tim Lincecum was the right choice for the NL Cy Young award. ‘American Gladiator’ and former EliteXC MMA fighter Gina Carano caught bloggers’ attention due to the spread of undated photos of Carano partying with fellow former EliteXC fighter Tonya Evinger. Rounding out the Top 5 was Dylan Favre, a high school QB that just set the Mississippi state record for single season touchdown passes, who happens to have a famous uncle, Jets QB Brett Favre.
