MNF was lackluster, but still most popular topic

Over the past 24 hours, Monday Night Football was the most popular topic among the most influential sports blogs, with many discussing the lackluster match-up and play of the Cardinals and 49ers. The trade of Rockies outfielder Matt Holliday to the Oakland A’s was also highly discussed. Another hot topic was an incident following Saturday’s LSU-Alabama game that resulted in the deaths of two people. An Alabama fan reportedly shot two acquaintances (LSU fans) to death during an argument about the game. Whether or not head football coach Charlie Weis is on the hot seat at Notre Dame was also a popular topic. Rounding out the top 5 was discussion about Ashley Stewart, a woman allegedly involved in an altercation with Larry Johnson last month, filing a lawsuit against the Chiefs RB.
