College football’s crazy finishes push it to top spot

Over the weekend, the most popular topic was college football, in particular Texas Tech’s win over Texas, Florida’s win over Georgia, and several games coming down to the final seconds. The NFL was also popular, especially the Tennessee Titans beating the Packers to remain undefeated, the Giants’ win over the Cowboys, and the Bengals getting their first win of the season. The New York Knicks’ woes involving Stephon Marbury, the fans, and new coach Mike D’Antoni were also highly discussed. A 7 year old Cincinatti fan is gaining blog popularity after being interviewed by ESPN’s Erin Andrews during Thursday’s Cincinatti vs. South Florida game, following receiving a hug from Cincinatti WR Marty Gilyard after Gilyard ran into the young fan in the stands. Rounding out the Top 5 was surprise at Phillies 2B Chase Utley cursing during a World Series celebration in front of thousands of fans.
