Word around the office is that Peyton Manning’s going out to the Tennessee vs Auburn game this weekend to show some support for his alma mater and Head Coach Phil Fulmer. I love seeing athletes recognize their roots even after they’ve achieved success. For as hard as Peyton works at his game, he’s never really been one to forget about the people that got him there.

Concerns about Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young’s mental state continued to be a popular topic.Bloggers were also concerned by news that the New York Giants and Jets are in stadium naming rights negotiations with Allianz, a Munich-based insurance and financial services company with several business connections to Nazi Germany in the 1930s and 1940s. Rounding out the Top 5 was former NFL-er Warren Sapp’s comments while promoting Showtime’s ‘Inside The NFL’ on which he is an analyst. Sapp referred to Univ. of Florida head football coach Urban Meyer as a “classless dirtbag” for kicking a field goal in the final seconds of UF’s 26-3 win over Miami and stated that the Oakland Raiders are “going to suck.”
